Writing as an architect I'm happy to say that Kris and his colleague did a gorgeous job in our garden. They were professional and focussed from start to end. No chatting and no rushing, just like a clockwork. The work was executed in a logical manner, with precision and attention to detail. The quality of the turf - Rowlan's Medallion - was spotless and they only bought it just before laying it and after they had done the preparation work. What we particularly liked was that they didn't shy out of asking questions whenever they arose, so we really felt included in all decisions. For example, asking us about what to do with tree roots that would poke out - cut them and thus risking damage to the trees, or leave them visible, which we preferred. They managed to carry the muddy turf rolls through the house using a wheel barrow, without leaving the slightest bit of dirt or scratch (they covered our new-ish wood floor carefully before they started work but obviously cannot protect walls and door frames so it's crucial to be careful). On top of the exceptionally good work they are very nice people who we would definitely employ again! Thanks for the good work and also for a fair price!

Patio refurbishment

VERY PLEASED! This is the second time Kris has carried out work at my home. He laid a patio for me 2 years ago and has just replaced fencing on my driveway. Installing new concrete fence posts and gravel boards, along with a 5ft fence. He also cleared the ally beside my driveway of over hanging bushes free of charge and removed all the old fence panels and garden rubbish. Kris did a great job, quickly and efficiently and for a very good price. I would definitely use him again and have in fact already contacted him to quote on another job.

Garden landscape

Just used Kris for the first time having received a very detailed and competitive quote to construct a shed base using concrete slabs. Suffice to say I am now part of a growing list of very satisfied customers and have already asked for further quotes on other garden jobs. In particular I liked the fact that Kris and his team take pride in what they do and are reluctant to use sub standard cheap materials, highly recommended.

He gave a realistic quote quickly, started work on time, and did a great job of removing some heavy fencing and replacing it with new materials he sourced at trader cost (saving passed onto us). On site we asked if he could assist with an extra job, which he did for a fair rate and which was added to the invoice. Kris worked with a colleague who was very polite and unobtrusive. They didn’t do anything without asking - both checked when they needed instructions from us on options related to aesthetics. That was thoughtful. Krystiyan and his assistant did an excellent job replacing a small front lawn with a new sandstone patio. He brought samples of the paving stones when he came to do the initial quote, and the price was very fair. The finished job looks great, and they cleaned up the whole area before leaving. Recommended.

We were very happy with Kris and his team's work. They started the job promptly, they kept to the budget 100%, they executed the work with great precision and attention to detail, they communicated well with us about any challenges they were facing during the works, and they finished the work to a very high standard that we were extremely satisfied with. They were also comfortable to incorporate some changes that we asked for along the way with very reasonable costs and minimal timing impact. Kris is adept at all aspects of hard landscaping - our project involved quite some earth moving, building retaining walls, and a considerable amount of stone paving and cladding, which he executed to a very high standard. He also installed a living/green wall competently, and added 25m of new timber panel fencing down either side of the property. He was able to sub-contract our related electrical and plumbing requirements to able and competent suppliers that we will continue to use into the future. All rubble and building waste was efficiently and timeously removed and at reasonable cost. We could also completely rely on Kris to be there for deliveries when we weren't available. I would recommend him unreservedly.

Kris was absolutely brilliant. When he came to quote for the job he put shoe covers on before he came into the house - something no one else did when they came to quote. This was a really good first impression. The quote was the most reasonable we received, and he didn’t try to upsell too much too us - he just provided some advice and allowed us to make our own decision. On the day of the job they got to work quickly. The speed at which they took down the bamboo and fig trees was amazing. We left them to it while we went out. When we returned the whole job was complete and they had tidied up everywhere, leaving the garden looking amazing for the first time in a number of years. We have more jobs to do so will be booking with KGK again.

Replace garden paving

I wanted to replace 85 square metres of thirty-year-old crumbling patio wrapped around the house, built on a brownfield site, where about 15 cm beneath the main patio was another concrete platform. I had selected and purchased big granite slabs for the job. KGK Surrey Ltd (Kris Georgiev and his team) took on my project, which three other local landscapers (selected from Checkatrade) had previously declined to take on. On his first visit Kris measured thoroughly, then sent me a structured quote. The fact that he is a trained bricklayer showed throughout the process of construction. Everything was thoroughly measured and remeasured. He worked hard and to perfection. His accompanying labourer is green-fingered, with horticultural abilities that complement Kris’s building skills. Together they delivered something really stunning and beautiful, well above my expectations. The work was completed on time and close to budget. I would recommend them to anyone.

Kris and his colleagues completely landscaped my garden starting with clearance of all existing shrubs, trees, turf, pond, rockery and old pathways. New beds with decorative edging were added, two new patios, a log cabin (which they erected), new fencing, and turf, plus under patio lighting, and outside power points. They were always prompt, from visiting for the initial quote, and also in carrying out the work. Kris and colleagues including his excellent electrician Gabriel communicated well throughout, worked weekends, and did everything expected of them. I'm extremely pleased with my new garden and thoroughly recommend them.

Landscape gardening, renovation etc

Kris was easy to work with and he and his team produced work to a high standard. Kris was willing to listen to feedback and corrected any issues immediately as the work progressed. Kris and his team: built a composite deck, laid a patio, built rendered raised beds and benches, built sleeper-edged flower beds, produced a shed base and assembled an insulated raised cabin. Costs were as specified. We will be using Kris for more work in the future.

A very positive experience using Kris and KGK Surrey Ltd and we are delighted with our new garden. We had our whole garden cleared, new fence(s), new slate patio, new composite decking, raised concrete planters, new gate, shed base, full path, new turf lawns and all electrics done. From the outset Kris listened to what I wanted and had creative ideas to make the most of our space and get the best for our budget. He is punctual, diligent and patient- coming to site 3 times before we commissioned him. I was very impressed with how quickly his team worked and they were very considerate and tidy etc. We had some delays with materials which was through no fault of KGK and they handled it very well and committed to finishing our job before starting another. All through the garden renovation the communication was very good- checking in and also making sure I was happy. I was also impressed by how specific Kris was with his quote and invoicing which made for a very easy interaction as both parties knew where they stood. Kris and his team were chosen by my wife Maxine and I as he was the only person who showed a genuine interest in what we really wanted as clients. Working with and alongside other contractors to complete several projects at the same time. Bekim and his team worked extremely hard but very thoroughly throughout the garden makeover.They arrived each day on time and got straight to work. Lunch breaks took as long as it takes to eat a sandwich and then they were back to work. They think nothing of staying late to finish an important section of work and were very flexible and open to ideas and changes throughout the makeover.
